How a Christian respond to loan/depts related issue?

We own a shop here. The problem is one flaw of it is having depts. I accept depts from customers (sorry for that english). Maybe I'm just afraid from customers for doing it. (because of anxiety, threats if not allowing depts or get what they want). What can the bible teach about these problems? Or what are the right actions?

Update:

*debts

    "debts"

Romans 13:8 KJV — Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

All I can think of is that it says you can't charge interest and you have to write debts off after seven years.  I don't know if that's relevant.

I tried to look up depts, and found that in law, it is the abbreviation of departments. I don't think that is what you are asking about. If you meant debts, it's unclear if you accept debit cards in payment (which is risk-free, but you pay a processing fee) or if you extend personal credit to your customers. If you live in a relatively closed social unit, such as some Amish and Jewish communities where dishonesty will shame an individual and drive him from his/her home, that may be OK. But if you are dealing with the general population, you have no way to enforce collecting the credit that you have extended. Tell those who have purchased on credit that all accounts are due on Friday and that you will not sell to them until their bills are paid. Stop accepting personal credit accounts, and in three weeks tell everyone on a Saturday that the personal credit program has been canceled.

When I was a kid in rural Oklahoma, this was common practice during the harvest season, but when the ground was tilled, all debts were settled.

You work two jobs and use one income to pay off small debts and then pay off the large ones,
