Do restaurants pay for third party delivery services like Skip The Dishes and Uber Eats by omitting an item or two from the order?
Lately it's happening a lot to me.

I would call the restaurant or the delivery serviced they used complain, and or try to find out what happened. Maybe the ran out of some thing, and they couldn't make the item with out it. Skip the dishes and Uber eats pays their own drivers, not the restaurant. How are you going to smell their breath if every one has to wear a mask... This hasn't happened to me, but I don't use them. I use Door Dash which has been more reliable.

Next time your Uber Eats guy shows up - smell his breath. Guarantee it smells like your missing dish.

Make sure you complain every time something is omitted. They can't find out what the problem is if they don't know there IS one.

Actually, the prices of the food from those sites is higher. That's how they make their money.

No, but you pay a premium for the delivery. Uber Eats has horrible reliability; it's almost as if their entire company is terrible at service delivery.

It is more likely that the delivery person is taking the items (just watch the 1000s of videos on YouTube of drivers doing disgusting things to your food). The driver doesn't care if you get what you ordered because they know you will just blame the restaurant (Don't shoot the messenger!) Since they don't work for the restaurant they restaurant has not control over them and can't "fire" them or anything.

Well, it wouldn't do them any good because most people will call back and either get the refund or will have to send it out again. You need to review the places and indicate the error. Yeah, as the other poster mentioned, how are you tipping? If less than 15%, then that's the issue
