Should there be an option to select more than one BEST ANSWER on `yahoo answers'?
Almost all the time, there will be more than one best answer.
Selecting just one as the best answer is doing injustice to the other best answers as well. It's not fair.
Depending on the number of answers, it is better if an option is given to select more than one answer as the best answer(s).
(eg., if 10 answers are there, then 2 may be selected as best answers)

No, but then there are no "Best Answers" on YA anymore. That was changed to "Favorite Answer" so the OP is able to select which answer they prefer. If they like several answers equally, then they are only able to select one of them to receive the 10 point "reward", or they may choose to not select a Favorite, if they don't feel comfortable selecting 1 user to be rewarded when they feel equally favorable toward several user's answers.

Back when "Best Answer" was the norm, the logical approach for selecting a BA amongst several equally correct/useful answers would be to select the one that was posted first.

No I think that would Defeat the Whole purpose of a Best Answer a Best Answer is to Award 1 Answer for being the Best I think if you have 2 Answers then its not really the Best Answer Because another person gave another Answer that was good as well

What part of "best" is confusing you???? The very definition of the word implies that there can only be one.
