Why are people willing to dish out s**t, but when the boot's on the other foot, they're upset?

Why are you posting this mindless rant to whine about your problem instead of just ignoring people that don't treat you like a fairy princess?

Michael, from what I've read you are in a great position to answer this yourself.  Why are you asking other people?

Most functioning human beings were raised to understand what empathy is: The ability to put yourself in someone's shoes and understand what they are going through.

However, people who have developed serious personality disorders as a result of being raised with neglect and/or abuse do not have a capacity for empathy.  In fact, they believe other people exist for them to USE IN LIFE.

And yes, we all wish they came with the word "TOXIC" tattooed on their foreheads because it would be so helpful!
