What does Facebook do with profiles of people who have died?

    Facebook Leaves it there unless a Family Member puts in a Request for it to be Deleted or a Friend Requests to turn it into a Memorial Page

    Depends on if the deceased's relatives requested FACEBOOK to give them access and to delete their profiles. 

    If no one requests to be deleted/deactivated, the profiles remain.
