Triangular shaped oven?
Would it work? I figured that a triangular-shaped oven would be more energy efficient than a dome-shaped oven, seeing as there's less space for the heat to disperse to. But I'm not a physicist, so I'm curious if my theory is practical or if there's good reason why most outdoor ovens are dome-shaped.

Many coal and wood-fired ovens have domed tops to direct the heat toward the food, that is cooked in front of the fire. A triangle roof would hold a lot of heat in the top, with little circulating toward the cooking area.

A dome reflects and disperses heat evenly. Any shape with hard angles in it would not heat as evenly. But yes! generally smaller oven would be more efficient.

I believe the term you are looking for is convection currents, a triangle would not flow heat currents very well
