Don't forget 2016 when Trump was elected. Did the Democrats shut up and stop their whining? No. They rioted in the streets. They openly cried. The Democratic leaders in congress promised that they would "resist" Trump. They immediately claimed that Trump colluded with the Russians to spread misinformation and change the course of the election. Congressmen openly charged that Trump was an illegitimate president. Other members of congress told people to harass any Trump supporters that they find. 

Now the Democrats want Trump to go away quietly.... I don't think so.
