You can start a lot of different business. But it really depends on your skills and knowledge, 200K is a lot for most people so make sure you fully understand what ever you start, and that it's profitable. You could start a bar, but it wouldn't be a good idea in today's Market

In answer to those who insult the poster for putting the $ after the number. This is standard practice in many countries, including most Asian ones. You are just assuming he is in the USA!

I owned and operated concessions on fairgrounds with a start-up of much less than that and did very well. Basically, I worked long hours 7 months out of the year and vacationed the other 5 months until I retired.

You can move to Thailand and be a travel blogger for 2 years for less than $200,000.
