Should there be a national referenda that limits political service to 75 years of age ?

Do you know how many senators and congressmen are over 80 years old?

Update:

Most companies will force retirement before the age of 75.

There should be mandatory retirement ages for all political jobs. A Democrat Senator older than 90 still is in office who nods off constantly while the Senate is in session.

National referendums are not one of the methods used to amend the Constitution.

Why not age 65, like the standard retirement age?  Why not age 50 to insure energy and vigor in public service?  Do those numbers not fit in with your agenda?

Some people are unfit to serve at any age while others can serve with acute intellect and ability until they are 100.  Let the voters make that determination regarding each candidate.

That could be done on an individual basis you know - like if enough people decide someone is too old.  How about a law that says people can't vote unless they can pass the test for new citizens.

If people wanted younger reps, they should vote for them.  However, it's the seniors who have the money, connections and experience.

People keep electing the same chuckleheads and expect different results
