What happened to Yeovil Town?

In 2014 they were in the 2nd flight (The Championship).  Now they are bottom of the National League.  How did things go so wrong for them

Yes I used to follow Donny Rovers and Forest Green when they were in the conference in the early 00's and I can remember teams like Yeovil, Dag & Red, Hereford and Scarborough United being a right pain in the butt, lol

Other guy is right the transistion from NL to the Championbship is like going from Premier League bottom half to Champions League

Firstly they were punching way above their weight. Their fanbase while it did boost in the championship was lower than some national league clubs when they were in league 1 and 2. Gary Johnson did miracles at that club to get them as high as they did. They've since made bad decision after bad decision, starting with the sacking of Johnson. Throw in not being able to compete financially with the clubs in league 1 and 2, their drop back to non-league was inevitable. The national league is probably their realistic level.
