Do you think that Coronavirus wouldn't be as bad if Trump had done things diffrently, like encouraging mask and social distancing?

Um YEEES.  If he'd introduced face masks, social distancing and frequent hand washing, as soon as he heard about all the Chinese people dying and all the other countries that had caught the virus and that was pretty much the whole of Europe.  Here in the UK we started getting cases in February, after some British Middle Class Skiers came back from France and spread it and another Middle Class holiday maker returned from Majorca and spread it a bit more round the UK.

Trump is the biggest political moron of 2020.

He should have acted to prevent its spread.

At the first whiff of covid 19 he should have geared up for action response. Ports, airports, etc should have been targeted to stop people entering or leaving.

Quarantine should have been a priority to curtail its spread.

Those believed to have been exposed tracked, traced, isolated to stop infecting others.

Cautionary safeguard  to protect those who would be exposed in their line of work unwitting carriers.

Definitely.   If the PRESIDENT OF THE USA had gone on TV and said we were facing the greatest problem of this century and that we all need to pull together to beat it then it would have been like the USA after Pearl Harbor or 911.     We do well when we face a common enemy.    But he acted like it was nothing but the flu and said it would go away like the flu come summer.    He has killed more people than Typhoid Mary.

I don't imagine it would have made a difference.  For one thing, even the medical authorities couldn't decide.  And now that they have decided, for instance, that lockdowns are not a good idea, the politicians who want lockdowns won't listen.  Their minds are made up already.

The medical authorities now are in agreement that the vulnerable [sick and elderly] should be protected from infection, the children should go to school, and people who are not elderly or ill should take precautions but go to work.

Do you think this is what will happen?  Maybe some places.  Not where I live.

Masks help to limit the range and quantity of virus laden droplets expelled by an infected person and social distancing limits the number of people within the range of the droplets that get through. Trump's cavalier attitude to precautionary measures has contributed to the high number of cases and deaths in the USA.

You need the President to tell you to be careful when people in your home town are dropping dead?

You didn’t catch the warnings from the media?
