My car has slight vibration while idle, what can be the cause?
My car is a 2002 Hyundai Elantra GLS. I found a couple bad, but not broken motor mounts and had them replaced, but my car still has a rough idle/vibration. My rpm was at 450 while idle, which was changed to about 700, but there's still a vibration, though slightly less of one. Had codes read and only code was the o2 sensor(I know it doesn't cause vibration). I had a oil change done, had. My engine and transmission are in good condition. Unless maybe my car isn't receiving codes for something that is wrong I just am at a loss.
Yes all mounts were checked. I don't know if this helps, but I also checked the car by putting e brake on and changing the gears, and feeling the engine with my hand and its the exact same on all of them, but I only feel it in the car when on d or r while idle.

I wouldn't be so sure the O2 sensor code isn't related to the vibration. If that sensor is bad it can cause the engine to run poorly because the engine management system bases decisions on readings from that sensor (among others). The O2 sensor could also be fine but just doing its job to alert you to a bad run condition caused something like a fouled fuel injector etc., which could also cause vibration.

i mean i doubt it has a misfire but you can try disconnecting the ignition coils one by one to see if the vibration gets worse of stays the same. did you check ALL the mounts, including the transmission mount. i would maybe take off the idle air control valve and clean it with carb cleaner.
