Men can wear dresses in America freely if they want. Most men don't choose to do so because they like pants i guess but i don't ever think it will be popular and widely used but definitely can become trendy. It also doesn't mean people won't stare but like you can do whatever you want lol

Depends on where you live some people mite disagree if you live somewhere over populated like London some people mite look and stare some mite laugh if you live in the country side not many people around you mite get away with it maybe they won't be so bias about the way you dress and you also got to look at are you well know In your community you can only imigan stepping out in a skirt and your friend or someone who lives on your street sees you they mite not agree with it

I hope so. I like wearing skirt, and I wear it whatever I feel secure from harassment or physical threats. Living in Latin Country with strong homophobia takes courage wearing skirts.

I think they are in some places.
Certainly the Roman tunic and the Scottish kilt are well known. In the days of ancient Rome, the idea of only women wearing skirts had to be disturbing!

Yes -- I certainly hope so. It has always been a mystery to me why it is considered acceptable for women to wear clothing, such as trousers, that were traditionally regarded as womens, but not acceptable for men to wear clothing, such as skirts, that were traditionally regarded as womens!
