In the English language, during a cloudless daytime, it has been officially labelled as the color 'blue'.

A light blue because of so called Rayleigh Scattering

The Atmosphere, particularly Water Vapour within it refracts light just like another clear Medium

The Sun's Rays are refracted into a longer Wavelength

    Hence Blue

William Strutt aka Lord Rayleigh won a Noble Prize for finding that out

Uranus reflects the same Colour for that reason

The cloudless daytime sky is blue, the explanation is Rayleigh scattering.

The cloudy daytime sky is grey, the explanation is shadows cast by the clouds.

The cloudless nighttime is black, the explanation is no sunlight.

The cloudy nighttime sky is pink or grey, the explanation is the clouds reflect city lights.
