Shouldn’t the appointment to the Supreme Court waited until after the election?

Trump had already lost the support of the majority of Americans when he made that appointment (demonstrated when he lost the election weeks later). So maybe it would have been more in keeping with the will of the people to wait. Mitch McConnell, you’re so full of 💩.

Update:

Thank you for conservatives for pointing out that it was completely fair, and so you can guarantee it will be done to you one day. 🤤

If you feel it was unlawful, explain how.  If it was a legal appointment, it was a legal appointment.  The presidential term does not expire until January.  He did as his position requires.

Why wait??  He nominated a candidate, the candidate was confirmed and the vacant seat was filled.  Democrats had their panties in a wad because they knew that the fix was in for Biden to "win" the Whitehouse by way of Dominion Voting Systems, Media's criminal censorship and millions of fraudulent, mass-mailed votes.  They wanted the vacant SCOTUS seat to be made available for an AOC-type candidate.

I think Alito and Thomas will retire, and then Biden will appoint those two seats. Time will tell.

You bring up a good point.  If Trump was so sure that he would win the election (he now claims that a Biden win is impossible), then why did he push to have his last nominee confirmed so quickly?  That's further evidence that his postelection rhetoric is nothing but an act when the truth is that he's nothing but a vindictive sore loser.

    Should have YES!

It was pushed mainly because Trump THOUGHT he would get an advantage out of having a majority con judges (already was), AND 1/3 of them appointed by him!

Looks like he was WAY off there!

It would not have mattered anyway when he appointed her.

This shows what kind of leader our current president is. Rather than focusing and investing the remainder of his time towards the American people and rebuilding the economy. He is to busy whining and complains about the election.

Of course it should have. Lindsey Graham made that exact argument, and then surprising literally no one, he flipped his stance.

We need to have a Nuremburg 2.0 and get the rope ready for all the GOP traitors that've helped this wannabe fascist drive our country into the ground.

That, and maybe adding a mandatory IQ test for the privilege to vote would go a long way to culling the idiocy in our politics.
