Why the Native Americans from Central and South America call themselves Latinos or Hispanics ? Are they ignorants or what ?

Most are a tri-racial mix of Amerindian, Spaniard and African, with some also having some Arab and/or Jewish blood in them. There are also those who have Asiatic blood, especially in the Philippines.
“South of the (U.S.A.) border”, in general you have the tri-racials who take pride in being mixed and prefer to exhibit a cultural mix from their entire heritage, or close to it, and prefer to speak the colonial language (Spanish), and then you have the mixed and full-blooded Amerindians who choose only to see themselves as indigenous and practice only that culture, and though they may or may not know Spanish, prefer to speak and preserve their own indigenous languages.
The latter is pressured by the former to join their ranks and be Hispanic/Latino.

You may think they are Native Americans, but most have at least some Spanish blood in them.
