It depends on what you are doing on your computer.

It depends on what you are doing on your computer. There are more programs written for windows but Linux is safer for online activity as it is attacked less because it is not used by so many people.

Each is better in some ways and worse in other ways. Many sophisticated users would never dream of choosing to use Windows.

For doing what?  The answer changes depending on what you are doing.  There is a terribly mistaken belief that somewhere out there is the "perfect solution" for everyone.  And that "one size fits all" fits them all very poorly at best.

Honestly I hate these types of questions. You're going to have die hard fans on both sides. Between my personal life and work (I work for a software company) I deal with both and can say they both have their pros and cons. It's going to depend more on your preference, what you're wanting to do and how much effort you want to put into it. Windows is more user friendly but doesn't give much freedom to change things. Linux on the other hand does have a learning curve but gives you the freedom to change almost anything. With Linux if you don't like it change it. Honestly you could list a thousand different reasons why Windows is better than Linux or why Linux is better than Windows. In my personal opinion Windows is a good choice for the average user. It's easier to get set up and use. However I feel if you want to know the hows and whys about how things work then go with LInux. It forces you to learn. This isn't to say that Linux isn't a good every day OS either. Personally I use Kubuntu as my every day OS. It runs great on my laptop and is set up exactly how I like it. I also have a lab environment running VMWare and mostly Linux servers where I can play around, explore, and bring any weird idea to life. On the flip side I run Windows on my gaming machine because I have more choices. They're both strong OS's with their own advantages/disadvantages. So instead of debating which is the better OS pick the one that best suits your needs and situation. Computing should be fun and having options only make it better.

Symbol for atheism is merkaba; merkaba = demon's prison; when people sin (like witchcraft) their field matches with that of merkaba's (that's how possession occurs). Communists murdered 70 million in gulags; please, for the love of God, stop with the Holocaust nonsense ... talk about 70 million dead in Russia instead. Hitler kaputt!!! forgive me.

Source(s): 5G & Vaccine work together to control you; if they want you'all dead, then cities will stink in winter. Hitler kaputt!!! forgive me.

Linux is better because it is open code so it is continually improved by users.
