Ps4 making noise when turned off?

Hey y’all just curious, does anybody’s ps4s fans feel like they’re blowing for a few seconds then turn off? My ps4 slim has been off for about 3 hours now and it keeps making a noise like the fan is on goes on from anywhere between 30 seconds to 1 minute on and off for a little while. The fan isn’t actually blowing it’s just making a noise like it is. thanks guys for all answers.

Update:

Hey guys the ps4 is completely shut down and I always close the games down before I turn it off. The only times I put it in standby mode are when it’s downloading that’s it.

A PS4 has 2 off settings. It has a hard off where it’s completely shut down and a sleep mode off. You have to look in the power off menu to make it turn off completely when you go to shut it down (will charge controllers in either off mode). The other off setting is not really off it’s more of a sleep mode. If you do not close the application as it refers to a game, the game is only suspended. I’ve noticed mine at times in the suspended mode it seems like the disc is still spinning which it shouldn’t do. Even if you shut the application (game) down the ps4 is not totally off in sleep mode. Also it’s like a computer it has vents where it sucks in air to the fan. They can get clogged with dust you need to clean them with a vacuum cleaner. I don’t know for sure but if it has some sort of temperature sensor it could keep running the fan after you shut it off if it’s in an overheat condition from clogged vents, that is speculation though.

Are you sure it's off or is it in rest mode?
