I was looking to order fine black caviar for new years and 1 oz is ~$200. Is this worth it?

Not unless you're rich. That's only about enough for 2 crackers.

No, that is way too expensive for a meal hun.

It is not worth it. You need to sample it first, to see if you like it. Why buy something blind. It is like buying a used car without seeing it first.

It depends. Do you love caviar? I noticed you said New Year's and not Christmas. You're only having close family and friends over, right? Then it's fine. I imagine you are, since this COVID-19 is prohibiting large gatherings. I'd say go ahead, you're not asking if you should have it for breakfast every morning, it's a special occasion.

I had caviar once when I was meeting Ted Rogers from 321. It was vile. Save your money

They sell salmon eggs at the bait shop. You should be able to pick up a bottle for about 7 bucks. It's the same thing.

    No, thats being ripped off!

And trust me when I say if you don’t eat caviar in your lifetime, you’re not missing anything!

I've had it a few times, and for me, no, not worth it.

I can get an amazing cheese for a tenth of that, and a pound, not an ounce.

It is not worth it. You can buy a lot of groceries with $200.
