    Air cannot be liquefied by pressure.

    The gasses that make it up around 99% of air, nitrogen and oxygen, have to be cooled to below their respective boiling points to be liquefied.

    They are stored as cryogenic liquids in thermally insulated containers (eg. Dewar flasks) with vents to allow gas to boil off without creating excess pressure.

    Liquid oxygen will be at around -183'C and liquid nitrogen at around -196'C
