I keep getting a notice that says 12 of my WinZip drivers are outdated.?
It prompts me to install the drivers,then it says I have to register,and the cost is 29.95.I can't afford to spend 29.95.What will happen if I don't update those 12 drivers?

Someone is trying to charge you $29.95 to install more malware.

First of all, software, like WinZip, do not require drivers. Lastly, you don't let someone or some site install drivers or anything for that matter for you. It's like inviting a thief to your home.

Winzip is built into Windows 10, and there is really no need for the average end user to install it further. As pointed out, Winzip also does not have 'drivers' which would need updating. Uninstall any stand alone Winzip you have installed.

Do a scan with Malwarebytes, something is installed on your computer that shouldn't be.

There are no drivers for Winzip. It is a scam.

They provide a free "trail" version that allows you to fix problems manually.
The registered (pay) version does a few things more efficiently/automatically.
