How to refer to a savory recipe (vs. sweet) in Japanese?
When I type savory recipe/food into a translator I get delicious. I want to refer to a savory recipe so it is understood I'm not seeking a dessert recipe.
This is a question for a Japanese chef (Chocolate Cacao チョコレートカカオ) who specializes in intricate and beautiful desserts. I want to ask him if he would consider doing a series on savory foods.

Generally speaking, if you just ask for a recipe it will be assumed you mean savoury, not sweet. If you wanted sweet you would have to specify sweet.
Japanese doesn't really specify "savoury" food in the same way as English does. If you really needed to be more specific, you would specify an actual ingredient or type of cooking, so you might say 肉料理 ("niku ryouri", meat dish), 魚料理 ("sakana ryouri", fish dish), 野菜料理 ("yasai ryouri", vegetable dish), フランス料理 ("furansu ryouri", French cuisine), 和食 (washoku, Japanese food), 中華料理 (chuuka ryouri, Chinese cuisine), etc. etc.
