"Flogging" is legal in the Bahamas. As an American Citizen, will I get flogged if I commit a crime in the Bahamas? ?

Flogging is basically getting whipped on your back a certain amount of time.

    If you break the law in another country, you're bound by their laws and their punishments. 

    Realistically I doubt anyone's actually getting flogged these days in the Bahamas; but legally, yes.

    After researching this it seems that only a couple of people have actually been flogged. Flogging should be legal as an alternative to short periods of jail time not in addition to them

    You could, so why would you want to to commit the crime to find out?  I mean, unless you're into that kind of thing
