Is the House starting impeachment proceedings?
I know that after yesterday there were some rumblings about impeaching Trump again, and it's not just far left extremists calling for it. But if it's going to happen it needs to happen fast. I've been looking for news all morning but I'm not seeing anything.

What's the point? if he's leaving on the 20th, why bother. Do you think they want to get at least 1 impeachment right? They already tried 5 times, they'll just fail again.

Right..there are rumors of it..I don't see it as practical..we could just let him rot out there on the lame duck vine and everyone agree to not follow any of his orders so he causes no more harm before he disappears into shameful infamy. We have our hands full just fixing all the things he has broken.

It should happen so the penalty of not being allowed to hold Federal office again is imposed even if removal from office is moot. Seems some dumbassses here don't know crap about the possible penalties for impeachment including those who think a person can be imprisoned when found guilty in an impeachment proceeding.
