Where to buy better blankets at?

Most of the cheap sheets you buy at Walmart are 300 thread count sheets.  The ones you purchased at Slumberland were probably a higher thread count--400 or higher, perhaps even 600.  The higher the thread count, the better they feel.  Personally, I prefer cotton thermal blankets.  They can be used year round and they're not very expensive.  January is usually the month most stores have their "white sales"--sales on bedding and bath items.  You should be able to find a comforter on sale.  My brother recently purchased a Broyhill comforter set at Big Lots for $70.
