Are you ok with people not sharing your political and societal opinions?

When you can say anything you want, it means that you are going to hear things that you don't want.

The problem is that issues surrounding politics and society are generally too complex to be summed up in one or two posts - making social media a very poor way to discuss it.

Instead, what you get are over-simplifications and uninformed opinions as people attempt to repeat things they've read/heard - and when they hear something they don't like, they run off to find stuff that supports their confirmation bias.

Sure....this is America.
