Would anyone really go on holiday to Huddersfield in England?

I live in this town and i saw it recommended by trip advisor but the only reason i can think that anyone would go on holiday here is to go on a walking holiday though i could be wrong. What do you think?

Living there you don't see the town as others could see it...normally it would not be a destination holiday place for me, however it is a beautiful market town, fabulous Victorian architecture with lots of industrial history ... however I have several friends who live there or close by and have to say have really enjoyed my visits in the past......... with covid travel outside the UK/Ireland is going to be difficult for several years and maybe that is an opportunity for more travel within the UK/Ireland as unless you have travelled extensively in the UK/Ireland you are missing out

I would stop by if driving around England in case the pub had a very tasty local beer or ale. If anyone can beat London Pride or Fuller's ESB, I hope to find it. Those are tied for first, Russia has a porter, a close second and Israel has a beer with hammer and sickle (from the Soviet Union) on the label in third place nudging #2.

Probably only for it's proximity to Holmfirth - home to "Last of the Summer Wine" filming locations + Longley Farm dairy products.

Maybe also if they've got ancestry connections to the wider local area, and they want to check out some of the places listed in the records.
