When talking about God's existence, what would count as evidence?

Please read this article entitled: Do You Doubt God’s Existence? Do You Know Why?  https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/library/r1/lp-e/all-publ...

This article will help you to find out why you feel the way you do.

Another reason people do not believe in God's Existence would be because they want to believe the lie that there is no God. God’s righteous law is an uncomfortable restriction. They want to be free to pursue their selfish course without the pangs of conscience that would gnaw at them should they be accountable to God’s law. Also, because they do “not accept the love of the truth, God lets an operation of error go to them, so that they may get to believing the lie.” 2 Thess. 2:10, 11.

A wise person who loves righteousness, however, will never be turned away from God. He will regularly study the Bible, and will grow to love God for the marvelous provisions that He has made for life in a righteous new system of things. Indeed, it is the fool that “hath said in his heart, there is no God.” Ps. 14:1

    God.

And by the way your sin is perhaps the best proof.

    The problem remains with you.

You would need to have a working definition of God before proceeding. My own suspicions are that God will ultimately be defined as a process, not a being in the sense we know beings.

The fact that hundreds of millions of people know Him and live in daily relationship and communication with Him. The fact that He came to Earth 2,000 years ago and clearly demonstrated that He was God by constantly doing things only God could do.

Evoking "Murphy's Law" I must say that anything that is too impossibly inconvenient must be the truth... i.e. God expecting us to cope with this evil world with very few blemishes and very few steps off the straight and narrow in order to gain salvation or otherwise face permanent nonexistence after the fact even though we spent a whole life at least putting up a struggle... even when witnessing others having much less to deal with and much more fortune and all the same being required of individuals regardless of their circumstances.

As awful as my life has been the only explanation that makes sense is that the effort I DID put forth (but still failing and being deemed unqualified) was for nothing.

Nope if the idea of "God" were simply one of complete and total bliss I could consciously discredit it.

I'm not gonna end up with 70 anythings or a guaranteed spot in "Heaven" regardless of my conduct.

Any reward (or at least sparing of a punishment) is contingent on how much I'm able to endure and the same is expected of me as is a man that has so much more to help him endure i.e. a wife and a happy life.

THAT... without uncertainty proves that God exists.

    It's not convenient - it's not a fairytale.

There is no motivation for it to not be truth.

An actual deity that can be observed, tested and verified/falsified.

God is not subject to proof or disproof.  Evidence, okay yes.

People everywhere believe there is good and evil, moral and immoral.  Their moral codes are not all identical, but they are surprisingly similar.  There are some limits to good behavior.

And if somebody is unfair, we appeal to others and say, "That was unfair, wasn't it?" and we expect people to agree with us.  Why?  Because we think there really is such a thing as fair and unfair.

Now, if somebody's opinion is caused not by reason but by illness, we do not think it is correct.  Only with the ability to reason, can somebody think rightly.

So, reason and morality are above nature.

There are two possible kinds of evidence for God's existence:  anecdotal and empirical.  Considering the total lack of empirical evidence, I don't find the anecdotal evidence very convincing.

Something verifiable, concrete and objective.  Right now, all Christians have is logical fallacies and personal stories.
