So Alabama won another national title. Does anyone care?

College football has gotten so predictable its not even worth watching the games anymore because we all know Alabama is gonna win again. Heck 2021-2022 is probably gonna be the same exact thing. If you are not a SEC fan or an Alabama fan why should we care?

Yeah with no salary cap or other restrictions there is nothing to stop teams like them winning everything for decades.

Alabama and Ohio State fans care, but many of us do not.

  • The fact that Coach Nick Saban has won 7 National Championships in College Football and that is more than the combined total of the next 129 Active College Football Coaches is Mindboggling. Should The Great State of Alabama be renamed "Saban"? I supposed University of Auburn Alums would vehemently object. However, University of Alabama Alums would be the first to say "Roll Tide"! Coach Nick Saban is a Master Recruiter and consistently lands some of the best High School Football Players in The United States year after year. It is impressive.

College football is the opposite of the NFL.  In the NFL, they work very hard to achieve parity by giving draft position advantages to bad teams.  In college, the better you are, the easier it is to recruit....which makes you better and so on.

Eventually, Alabama will fall apart.  No dynasty lasts forever.  But it's a slow process and can take decades.
