Doom, but it is not as good as PC, but it delivers the entire game with a Great soundtrack. Sega Genesis's soundtrack is not even close as good.

That's why Sony Killed it after Nintendo punked them out in public.
Resident Evil, Silent Hill, those are staples in the horror game genre and Sony got them.
Still waiting for a series better, but NOPE.
Sega had Splatterhouse and then on Xbox 360.
Nintendo allows indies to release somewhat scary games, but Nintendo isn't about that.
NEVER turn to Nintendo for blood and horror.
PC and SONY.
I honestly cant think of a single snes horror game.
I have them all on a flash but Sega did better.

In terms of horror, a few games to check out would be...
* Clock Tower -- This is the traditional horror with psychological horror & some jump scares as you try to solve the mystery of the game. There's multiple "bad" endings, but only one "good" ending. This game was re-released on the PS1
* SOS (US) / Septentrion (Japan) -- This is more of a disaster-horror game akin to "The Poseidon Adventure". You play as one of three characters as you try to find survivors & escape from the capsized, sinking ship with a strict ONE HOUR time limit (although you're penalized 5 minutes every time your character is knocked unconscious).
* Zombies Ate My Neighbors & Ghoul Patrol -- This is more of an arcade style, light-hearted horror where you're trying to save your neighbors / victims from the horror of the various monsters you encounter in each level. It is a 2-player co-op game.
The might be a few others I'm missing, but I hope this gives you some ideas.
