Do you think the US Senate will acquit Donald Trump again in the second impeachment trail after he leaves office again?
Even though the US senate controlled by the republicans. We don't know how the turnout it is. We better pray Donald Trump gets acquitted so he can leave in one piece. Now, we don't know. It will be up the us senate to acquit or convict. It was really fast that us house started the impeachment proceedings. We need the republicans to acquit him. Even though I blame the democrat house for trying to impeach Donald trump really fast before he leaves office. I just want him to leave in one piece with his presidential library, his pension and star on walk of fame. I don't know even know what is going to happen. I just the hope the republicans senate are still on Trump side.

The GOP is all in for conviction this time. After they convict him, they can have another vote barring him from ever running for anything in America ever again. And then they can go to work on their budget deficit by stripping him of all govt. benefits: no secret service protection, no 'free' access to jets, no pension, no nothing... the man is a billionaire (according to him), he can damn well pay for that stuff himself.

The trial won't happen before he leaves office. If he is convicted, the worse that can happen is he can be barred from holding office again. But that is constitutionally dubious.

They need 2/3 to convict, or 17 Republican Senators to cross the party line. I don't think we have that many.

Probably. He could eat live babies and they'd still find excuses to look the other way. McConnell is counting on Biden being too busy after taking office to pursue the impeachnent.

The US senate isn't controlled by Republicans. There is a tie which will be broken by the VP Harris.
So no they will not acquit Donald.
