Which are better CertainTeed or GAF roof shingles?

Assuming the cost was the same would you install Certain Teed or GAF shingles?  Thanks in advance

    I think that kind of depends on what you are looking for….Your needs. Length of time you will be in the home, variety of shingle, impact and wind resistance. ...etc.

    They both have some excellent lines of tiles with compatible durability. Different but compatible warranties …. However, no matter which you choose, proper instillation is key….. proper installation will make or break a warranty …so check the instillation loopholes in each contract.

    Pickup one section of each and shake them. The one that expels the least amount of sand is the better choice.
