We serious astronomers can only hope that Biden follows Obama's lead on this. Manned spaceflight is a total waste of money and resources, and has been rendered obsolete by the amazing advenced in microelectronics and robotice in the last few decades. Money squandered on ridiculous manned spaceflight could then be redirected to fleets of robotic probes to thoroughly explore our solar system and beyond.

If Big Money wants to lob people up into space for entertainment purposes on their own money, without government subsidy, then that's their dime. But no way should the taxpayer be funding it. Their are far more productive uses for precious public funding.

China has not defeated the US, why would the US turn over technology to them.

Russia and other nations?are still working with the USA. The problems with the rockets test at Stennis was  BEFORE Biden and Harris were sworn in less than 48 hours ago is a possible delay, NOT cancellation.

NASA approved the plans for the Antares, now Artemis rockets and  contacted Grumann and Boeing to build the rockets for the Space Launch System in September 2011, 9+ YEARS ago. it was not renamed Aremis until LAST YEAR 2020. ONE of the few good things Trump has done is create the Space Force. That is is seperate from what has going been going on with NASA on the civilian side. Yes, of COURSE the 2 are connected.
