EMT and PA question.?
I wanted to get the EMT-basic training and take the NREMT certificate in order to enhance my knowledge and increase my chances of acceptance in PA school. My question is, does having the certificate alone increases my chances? or I have to work as an EMT to increase my chances? I am asking because I may not have the time to work.

No, you have to work as one to use it as PA school requirements. Just taking the test is meaningless, and the admit committee will see it as just padding

Talk to the college on admission requirements first. EMT experience may not be relative to the training.
