Why do so many people still have their Christmas stuff up when the holidays are long over?
It’s really bothering me in my neighborhood as I feel it’s tacky. Plus the lights from across the street keep my dog up all night as the dog thinks it’s a person or animal.

It's slightly more cheerful than without them, and given the world I need all the cheer up I can get. People like you are the main reason.

It is a crime and the government need to act. Outlaw Christmas Decorations unless in December now. It is offensive to the nature of human existence to celebrate outside of December.

Many people consider lights "winter lights" not "Christmas lights". They find them cheery.
Your dog's annoying behavior is your problem, not your neighbor's problem. They aren't doing anything wrong.
