Am i making excuses not to exercise? ?
I wanna exercise more but i hate exercising at home. My apartment is small and i want to go outside on a trail. The only problem is i live in a city where there are no trails. Only dirt lots and streets. I see alot of people jogging and cycling on the sidewalk or street but that seems unsafe because there are lots of drunk drivers, red light runners and hit and runners in my area.
Im not sure what to do, i just dont want to be around other people when i exercise because in gyms they hog equipment and you always got the try hard males who hit on girls or behave aggressively towards girls. There are no all women gyms where i live

Yeah, sounds like excuses. If you really wanted to exercise, you'd do it (even if you didn't have your ideal conditions/environment available).
.
YouTube has tons of workouts you can do at home, that require little space. If you live in the city, drive to a nearby residential area or park to run OR simply run on the sidewalk and be very careful when crossing the street. Runners get hit when they are not paying more attention to the drivers on the road than the drivers are paying attention to them.

Your post is more suited to Health>Diet & Fitness as it's not about running in particular, but motivation to work out. Moving your question can be done by clicking Edit (pencil icon for mobile)>Edit category just beneath your question, then selecting the category that's appropriate for the topic

Yes, you’re making excuses. Nobody’s forcing you to exercise. If you don’t want to, just admit that. Don’t go blaming bad drivers for why you don’t jog on the sidewalk. That’s just crazy talk. You can always find a way to exercise if you’re motivated. Jog on the sidewalk in a residential neighborhood or in a park. You can play sports too. Find a friend who wants to play basketball or soccer, since you don’t need any special equipment or space. There’s basketball courts at almost any park or school. If there’s a public tennis court near you, that’s pretty good exercise. You can get a treadmill or elliptical machine at home if you can afford one (used ones can be pretty cheap), or do a workout video.
