Is garden hose pressure the same as tap water? ?

Not exactly. Both depend on the pressure of the tap water supply though (the pressure that the water has when it enters the house). Pressure depends on the source pressure and the area of the piping or tubes which allows the water through. Distance of piping matters too. Even elevation matters a bit.

Pressure and tap water are two different things.Pressure is the amount of force the water comes out of the tap at which is usually around 50psi.
