What do you think about New Age music?

There's new age...and 'new age' (with some just playing at it). Could be even Enya didn't feel her music was 'new age' - but when the media called it that, who was she to argue?

I love it it helps me fall asleep enya is amazing.

I prefer old age music.

They are old news. Enya is a relic . Her music all sounds the same. There is so much better space and other great ambient music out there.

I love New Age music!!!

I don't consider either Loreena McKennitt or Enya to be a "new age" artist.                  

These ladies are two unique and particularly compelling musicians  

who really don't --- and should not be forced to --- fit into any category.    

The vast majority of what I consider to be "new age" is absolute sh*t.   

Good music comes in many forms, and pigeonholing it is useless.   

Either you like a particular work or you don't like it, 

but that has nothing to do with a name that someone who 

neither composed it nor performed it attaches to it.        

Ignore descriptions of style and instead concentrate on the content, 

which is all that really matters.           

That crap is painful to listen to
