Nothing funny. I just retired and returned to the US when my parents were elderly.

I got a better job.

Compulsory Age Requirement was 55 But great Superannuation and i never needed to work again

I have only had to quit once in my life, and it's the case of the manager being a nice guy when you are a customer, but when you get hired and work for him...forget it! I was 17 or 18 and I knew the general manager well at pet supermarket, I would buy fish regularly. Eventually he asked me to work for him, and it only lasted 6 months. Basically because I did something wrong with freight, stacked the food bags in the wrong place, or sold the wrong type of food to the customer(I don't remember), he chewed me out big time....in public. Cursed me out big time outside in front of shoppers and I thought I was dreaming lol, I never dreamed he would act like this. So I quit, didn't even notify the guy that I quit, I did not think he deserved the courtesy of knowing. It all worked out well, because my former company took me back and a couple months later I found out he was fired for "inappropriate behavior" 👍 so there is a nice story for you. 

I used to work in shipping and receiving .. 

One day there was less traffic so had arrived at 0730 for a shift starting at 0800. 

UPS driver wanted me to take incoming packages before I was even on the clock

and gave me attitude when I refused to.

Because Walmart will slave you for 11.50 and won’t care about you :p . And don’t say I deserved it either because I’m only 17 I can’t go out and get a " real job " .
