2015 Volkswagen ?
Back in 2018 I bought a used 2015 Volkswagen Jetta. But as of November I’ve been having problems with my brakes. I’ve replaced my master cylinder, booster, brake pads, and rotors and still getting the same problem which is my brakes keep overheating cause them to lock up my entire car to where it won’t shift. I even replaced my ABS system. What could it be? I love my little Jetta. Best car I ever had.

Lightly press your hand down on the brake pedal to see if you have 1/4" of free play before you make contact with the master cylinder piston. If no free play the hydraulic pressure can't release and will keep building up every time you push the brake pedal until the brakes lock up.

Replace the brake lines. That is all what is left. And bleed the brakes completely.
