Is there any other way to bring up a keyboard on my Dell Pro tablet without hitting the keyboard icon in my taskbar?
Being that it's touchscreen it works so incredibly close to my android phone that I'm kind of expecting it to do some of the things that my android phone does. likethe keyboard has talk to text capabilities and when the keyboard comes up I can swipe my words instead of hunting and pecking the words so that makes it very much like my phone and I love that. But one thing I wish it would do and I don't know why it doesn't but when I clicked inthis box to typeit automaticallypulled the keyboard up on the bottom of my phone screen by default I didn't have to go find a keyboard icon and click on it. When I click in myweb address bar with my fingerit does the same thing it automatically recognizes that's a place to type something and your keyboard pops up on your phone why does it not do that on my Dell Pro tablet? when I tap my finger anywhere like the address bar on the web or I'm on Facebook and I want to write something to someone on their wall, nothing happens I have to actually physically go on to my taskbar on the bottom of my screen and hit the keyboard icon to pop up the keyboard . Is there not a way to be able to make it do like my phone where I tap my finger in a text box and the keyboard automatically pops up all by itself recognizing that I'm tappibg in a text box? that's one of the most annoying things and that's probably the only complaint about this tablet. Any help is appreciated.
I ask this only because I don't see anything in the settings and I'm not the most technologically advanced person but I'm not horrible either I'm capable of understanding if somebody explains it to me not like my mother she would never understand regardless so that is why I ask.
I also noticed there is a pen and ink icon in my taskbar and you can set up a whiteboard with your Microsoft account and you can use your pen to write instead of using the keyboard . But my pin with the stylist doesn't work for that. is there a special pen that comes with the tablet that I don't know about ? These tablets that my dad found were throwaways that have nothing wrong with them.
