Genesis 9:6 - Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

Why should we waste valuable time, energy and money to go through years of appeals? I'd rather see the prisoner have to think about his crimes on a daily basis.

Report Anonymous' comment espousing that hate crimes should carry the death penalty. That's clear racial incitement.
Definitely. It should be expanded, and somehow make it cheaper. It's quite ridiculous that it can cost over a million dollars per execution.

IF a person commits a crime for which the victim or any present witness could have used lethal force lawfully, but failed to do so, then society owes it to the victim to immediately execute the convict to make up for that failure. Back in the day, a person convicted of a capital crime would be executed 14 days later, assuming their one and only legal appeal was not still pending.
Sure, there can be mistakes, but we should fix the system so it works more efficiently and might provide some greater deterrence to would-be violent felons.
Similarly, it should be made legal to use any amount of force necessary to prevent an intoxicated person from driving a vehicle. Also, if enough drunk drivers were legally beaten to death at the scene of a crash, maybe fewer people would risk it.

🥴
Of course.
Its a granted mercy for guys like Dylan Roof and Patrick Crusius.
Do you really want to waste tax dollars on supplying them for life in prison?
No.
And I think their executions should be televised to send a very clear message to the general public.
Hate crimes arent tolerated.

yes, but only for the most extreme cases. like mass casualty terrorism, not most of the time actually sentenced to it.

I am against the death penalty. Unjust factors tend to factor into its use, and it discriminates against men, blacks, and the poor. There is rarely if any need to use the death penalty to protect the innocent in this day and age. A person can battle the culture of death using the rosary of the Virgin Mary, and fasting. St. John Paul the Second was a courageous apostle for Jesus and Mary who crusaded against the death penalty. It is good to recite novenas and other prayers in his honor and to meditate on the various events from his life including his sufferings and heroic virtue.

Yes I do. The death penalty should be reserved for criminals who commit the most heinous crimes, a good standard to have would be those who currently reside in supermax prisons. One of the men responsible for the Boston bombing is currently alive and well inside such a facility. Instead of this scumbag being a burden on the American taxpayer I think a lethal injection would be more appropriate.
