what do you think of bad people - do you hate them - dislike disgust destroy unhappy?
i'm thinking - a lot of what we think or feel is an interpretation. you eat strawberries and you interpret it as good. but not everyone likes strawberries, some interpret it as bad. if you eat rotten strawberries then you are disgusted or sickened by them. it's not that strawberries are good or bad, it's how you interpret it.
much can be said about humans. if a human looks a certain way or has a certain attitude, the human may be likable to some and not to others.
some people like humans that are virtuous and kind and good. other people like bad people or mean people because they are mean as well and they want partners in crime rather than goody two shoes.
some of the people that pick on you or are hostile to you, you may under certain circumstances get to know them. and they turn out not so bad. you like them.
so it's not empirically good or bad. it's just how you feel about them.
so say if you are in an eternal life, do you hate things that are good or bad, when in reality things may morph between being good and bad?

We all have good and bad attributes. Ultimately, we do things because we want them. The issue arises if what we want harms others. That should be the distinguishing line. You can hate the bad behaviour but not the person.

I do not like peanut butter but I don't hate it, I just won't eat it. Something has to be really really bad for me to hate it. I hate the muslim culture, I hate my sister for killing our mother, I hate animal abusers, it has to be really really bad for me to hate it. I don't hate people but I may hate their ways.

Two of my favorite thinkers are Dale Carnegie (author of a best-seller for generations), and the Buddha. The book by Dale C., How to Win Friends and Influence People, says, "If you learn one thing from this book, learn this - see things from the other person's point of view." People rarely think of themselves as villains. Aside from hardcore sociopaths, people have rationales for what they do. The Buddha referred to troublesome people as "unskilled."

Good question. I used to; when I was young and dumb. Now I’m older, I dislike some bad people, but I’d still do them a good turn rather than a bad one if they were in trouble. I guess I like some people more than others, but I see us as all being on a journey together. All children of God. So I have unconditional care for others. I still avoid those who are bad for me though, without bearing a grudge forever.
