Somebody else having problems with Chome today 2nd Feb 21?
Just rebooted my desktop and now any page on Chrome takes about a minute to show up.... Firefox works normally

What happened when you uninstalled Chrome, rebooted, and then reinstalled it?
If you haven’t yet tried that obvious step then do so. Chrome, like any other program, can get corrupted and require reinstallation: I stopped using it precisely because that happened far too often compared to my other browsers: in order of preference I use Safari, Firefox, Firefox Focus, and Duck Duck Go.

Chrome is untrustworthy. they're probably loading all kinds of spyware into your computer. stick with Firefox.
