Why on earth would you want to do something so immature and utterly stupid?  My husband's grandfather was in the Black Hand in Sicily, and his son (my father-in-law) came to the U.S. and moved away from the Italian parts of NY and NJ, so he couldn't be traced by his father and the father's associates.  He finally ended up moving to HI.  This was 50 years ago, when there were no computers or cell phones.  You don't want anything to do with people like that. Today, my husband wants no contact with any of the relatives.  He's changed the pronunciation of his name, and we have an unlisted phone number.  Leave it alone.
