Help Guitar Hero wii guitar strum bar?

Just got a new wii guitar for GH3 and everything is fine besides the strum bar being too sensitive. It’s kinda hard to explain but basically it counts as a strum even when I barely push it up or down. It still had a clicking noise and if I strum really hard it’s fine, but when I rest my fingers on the strum bar sometimes it detects it as a strum. Any way to fix this?

    Yes.....     

    Real guitars of any quality, and some that are junk, too,  

    are that sensitive.
