Did Elvis use make up?

Like anyone who appears ions on film, he would have worn makeup to keep his skin colors looking natural under studio lights.  he probably also used some to enhance his look so that his features would stand out better when he was on a stage in front of a large crowd.  Most performers do.

Yes when he was performing.

Not all the time.  He did use theatrical make-up when acting in his movies and for television (everyone did to look good on camera), and later when he was ill and thus very pale. (The poor man still looked pasty in his last TV special.  Like a clown with red spots and mascara lines. Someone did not do a good job making him up, or he looked ghastly feverish because he was really sweating.)

Elvis did not wear make-up on the street.

I don't know if he wore make-up at his huge concerts late in his career.  He looked quite natural in pictures taken at his early concerts and in early publicity photos 

His hair was actually blond.

He died it black to look like Captain Marvel Jr.
