I want a simple life working in fast food but I'm afraid of people making fun of me. What should I do?

I really don't want to work in the 9-5 office world and I really just want a job with minimal responsibility. A big paycheck isn't necessarily something I am looking for, just something that offers a good work/life balance.

Does anyone have experience working fast food? I was labeled as being a "Big achiever" in high school so I'm actually afraid of running into people I used to know and having them laugh at me, I know it's dumb.

I've suffered from and am recovering from a severe mental breakdown so I know what kind of work I can and can't handle anymore physically and mentally. However, now my paranoia is having people I used to know harass me and make fun of me at work.

Has this happened to you before? If so, how often does it happen?

Fast food is Hardly "Low Stress" !

you need to Multi task like crazy, have no set schedule, most likely NO heath insurance and few benefits.you are just a Body to most corporations & managers. I was near suicide in fast food/deli world.Be CarefulI suggest talking to a professional or your therapist.

There is nothing wrong with opting for a low-pressure job.
