Is the recent high rainfall linked to many flash floods?

If the high rainfall is happening in areas where flash floods are fairly common events, then almost certainly.  I don't live in such a place, and we haven't had rain anyway (only snow), so flash floods are not much of a concern.  I have no idea about where you live, and not simply because I do not even know where you live, but more because I have little knowledge or concern about fairly typical weather events occurring far away from here.

No idea where you live.  Here in the Southern US there have been no high rainfalls or floods.
