Why should I watch the Superbowl if my team isn't in it?

You don't have to watch the game, you can always do something else.  If you're waiting for the Jets to make it to the Super Bowl, you may be waiting for a while.  

you watch it for the game.  not the teams.  while it's nice if your team is in it.  it's also nice that you don't have to deal with the anxiety when the are in it.  it's a more relax and chill way to watch.  

Becuase yr team will never be in it, so may as well watch it

Jets?  Because it's the only way you're going to have a chance to see it

so go read a good book or watch a good movie-

Nah, give it a miss. Go for a run or something. After all... you're a Jets fan, so how much can you really like football? You must be sick of it by now...

2) Because you want to see what good football looks like so you can recognize it if it ever happens to your team.  Which, as a Jet fan, it won't.
